A revista Moving Picture World comentou sobre o filme da seguinte maneira: "A presença dominante de dois detetives amadores à la Sherlock Holmes permeia o enredo com suas peripécias. Embora sua atuação possa introduzir um elemento de confusão na trama, seu humor e a irrelevância do enredo para o entretenimento geral permitem que sejam facilmente perdoados".

Enredo
Mrs. Smith hired detectives to trail her husband, whom she believes is being unfaithful; police chief Larkin gets mistaken for Mr. Smith by the detectives, who raise hell when they catch him "cheating". Based on an extant still, this is the first verifiable Keystone Comedy to feature a group of comic cops.
