Le deuxième et dernier film du Grand National Pictures avec The Shadow, joué à nouveau par Rod La Rocque. Dans cette version, Lamont Cranston est un détective amateur et animateur d'une émission de radio avec son assistante Phoebe (et non Margo) Lane. Le chauffeur de taxi Moe Shrevnitz et le commissaire Weston comparaissent également.
