== Verhaal ==
De "Diamond from the Sky", een spectaculaire diamant gevonden in een vallende meteoriet, is al generaties lang in het bezit van de familie Stanley. Er breekt een strijd uit om het bezit van het eeuwenoude familiestuk wanneer de verwaande kolonel Arthur Stanley zijn pasgeboren dochter vervangt door een zigeunerjongetje om een erfgenaam te hebben. Dit leidt tot kidnappings, rivaliteit binnen de familie en een lange reeks intriges.
