Distribuito dalla General Film Company, il serial - in dodici episodi ognuno della lunghezza di una bobina - uscì nelle sale cinematografiche statunitensi il 31 gennaio 1914.
Il quinto episodio, The Chinese Fan è stato distribuito nel 2013 in DVD, compreso in un'antologia dal titolo Lost & Found American Treasures from the New Zealand Film Archive, antologia curata da Scott Simmon della durata complessiva di 198 minuti.

Trama
An early Thomas Edison short. A young woman is kidnapped while attending a play in Chinatown. A reporter attends another play in Chinatown, is likewise kidnapped and rescues the young woman. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2011 in partnership with the National Film Preservation Foundation New Zealand Project.
